An Iron Man Quiz with Clear Answers and No Trick Continuity

Marvel Fan Activities · 2 min read
A good beginner quiz tests attention without punishing someone for watching a different adaptation. This Iron Man quiz labels its scope and keeps the answers straightforward. Most questions concern the MCU films through Endgame; the final two explicitly switch to comics. Read the answer key only after everyone has had a chance to respond.
The questions
- What is the civilian name of the MCU's original Iron Man?
- Which 2008 film begins his main MCU journey?
- What is James Rhodes's familiar armored heroic identity?
- Which Iron Man film includes the suitcase armor at Monaco?
- What is the commonly used designation of that suitcase suit?
- Which Avengers film follows Infinity War in release order?
- Which young hero does Tony mentor in Spider-Man: Homecoming?
- What is Pepper Potts's armored identity associated with Endgame?
- In comics, which issue introduces Iron Man: Tales of Suspense #39 or #93?
- In the original comics Iron Spider design, are there three or four mechanical appendages?
The answer key
- Tony Stark.
- Iron Man.
- War Machine.
- Iron Man 2.
- Mark V, also written Mark 5.
- Avengers: Endgame.
- Peter Parker, Spider-Man.
- Rescue.
- Tales of Suspense #39.
- Three. The MCU design's additional limbs should not be substituted for this comics question.
Make the discussion more interesting than the score
After checking answers, invite each person to choose one question and explain the scene or design they remember. This gives newer fans an opportunity to connect a name with an image and lets experienced fans contribute without taking over every turn.
Accept equivalent notation such as V and 5. The goal is recognition, not a spelling test. If a participant raises a genuine version difference, check the stated scope before deciding that the answer is wrong.
Add a personal bonus round
Ask which suit transformation, character relationship, or small prop each person remembers most clearly. These questions have no official answer and should not affect the factual score. They turn the quiz into a conversation about taste.
When expanding the game, write the source beside every new answer and avoid relying on a reposted trivia image. A small set of well-scoped questions is more enjoyable than a large set whose answers depend on unstated assumptions about comics, films, and alternate versions.
